(2019) Cities as spatial and social networks, Dordrecht, Springer.
Urban societies are composed of many interrelated contexts where individuals influence and interact with each other over space, time, and network. The relationship between relational and geographical spaces, representing social-spatial interaction in the cities, has long been an important issue in urban and regional studies, planning, and design. This volume is the second one in the Human Dynamics in Smart Cities book series and composed of 11 chapters. The chapters focus on three aspects: Conceptualization and Framework Implementation, Intra-City Analytics, and Inter-City Analytics.
